The Victorian Curriculum F–10 incorporates the Australian Curriculum and reflects Victorian priorities and standards. In Levels 7 and 8, students examine the processes that influence the characteristics of places. They consider spatial distributions and patterns and their implications and consider interconnections between and within places and changes resulting from these. This further develops their understanding of geographical concepts, including place, space and interconnection.
The Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Civics and Citizenship provides broad direction on the purpose, structure and organisation of an Australian curriculum for Civics and Citizenship. It is intended to guide the writing of the Foundation to Year 12 Australian Curriculum: Civics and Citizenship.
