The Victorian Curriculum F–10 incorporates the Australian Curriculum and reflects Victorian priorities and standards.Students engage with a range of Indonesian texts. They are provided with opportunities for both prepared and spontaneous language use. Students interact with others. They write for public purposes and interact with Indonesian peers. They create bilingual texts for peers and the wider school community.
The Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Languages is now available. The shape paper provides broad directions for the development of languages curriculum. Writing of languages curriculum will now commence, starting with F-10 Chinese and Italian and a Framework for Aboriginal languages and Torres Strait Islander languages.
