Brass Music

The Brass  score collection is  housed separately in numbered boxes. Instead of using the BCM classification scheme used to organise the main scores collection, brass  music is filed in numbered boxes according to instrument, size of the ensemble, etc.

These collections have only brief records on the OPACS, with a ‘BB’ number in the call number indicating in which brass box the score may be found. If using the OPACS it is best to search by title rather than by composer.
