Professional and personal papers
The Barry Tuckwell Collection contains correspondence and other documents relating to his musical career together with some personal papers. The correspondence includes a small grouping of letters and cards from prominent individuals and a substantial collection of other correspondence.

Other professional papers held are copies of speeches delivered by Tuckwell and papers relating to his period on the Board, and as Chairman of the London Symphony Orchestra in the 1950s and 60s. Diaries and photographs also form part of the Collection.
