If the book you need is out on loan, or is not held at the University of Melbourne, you can easily request it online from another BONUS+ library, then collect it a few days later from the pick-up location of your choice.
Graduate students and staff can request books and other material via Interlibrary Loans.
You can also get a CAVAL card from the Library to borrow from other university libraries in Victoria.
