Australian Indigenous Education

Getting started

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung People of the Kulin Nations as the traditional custodians of the land upon which we live, work and learn.

This guide is designed to raise cultural awareness and understanding of  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (Indigenous Australian) cultures. The guide incorporates resources to support the implementation of culturally appropriate practices for the inclusion of indigenous children in educational settings.
