Polls and statistics

Polls and statistics

These will index via topic, and should cite the source of the data/report.

You could try catalogue (Unimelb and Libraries Australia) searching using these subject headings:

  • Public opinion -- Australia.
  • Public opinion polls
  • Public opinion polls – Australia
  • Australia--Politics and government--1990-2001--Public opinion.

These newspapers/ news sources are held in microforms. You need to use an external index, such as APAIS or the SMH indexes for polls earlier than about 1995. Help with using the microform readers is available from the Baillieu Information desk.

Some of these sites may have free opinion poll results - you may need to trawl the pages to find what you're after.
