Finding law ebooks

Finding law ebooks via the catalogue

You can search for law ebooks by going to the Library Catalogue

Put your search terms in the Quick search field and restrict your search to Online Books to only see ebook results.

If you don't restrict your search to Online Books, you can identify ebooks by the icon beside the catalogue listing.

Finding ebooks via the publisher platform

You can go directly to one of the ebook platforms and search for ebooks related to your topic via the 'A-Z Journal and Database' option. This will allow you to do a full text search across the publisher's collection - which is much more comprehensive than the information available in a catalogue search.

After selecting your ebook platform you can use their search functions to browse or search by title, subject area, publication date or other criteria - depending on their search options. Details of each of the Publisher's platforms is available on the Law Library ebook Platform page, including overviews of their subject areas.

Note: going directly to the ebook platform or publisher's page will not give you access to the full text of the book. You must navigate to the site via the Melbourne University Library catalogue.
