Finding eBooks
- Use a keyword search to find books and ebooks on a topic. Once you have completed a search you can limit your search to a specific collection such as, Giblin Eunson Library or format such as online books (login with your username and password to view e-books)
- Only want an eBook? Choose the option 'eBooks' in the catalogue. To read an e-book, open the catalogue record and then select the link: Connect to electronic book.
Searching in Discovery will also retrieve books and ebooks

Enter the keywords in your topic eg: educational psychology and student achievement
search for an exact phrase by adding quotation marks eg. "positive education"
SUBJECT: click on any of these examples to complete a Subject Heading search in the library catalogue
The psychology book collections are located in 3 libraries
See the campus map for library locations:
- Brownless Biomedical Library. Most recommended reading psychology texts are located in the High Use Collections on the ground floor of the Biomedical Library for overnight and 7 day loan. 28 day loan psychiatry and neuropsychology books are located on the second floor, in the Dewey range 612.8 and 616.8 (see table below).
- Baillieu Library. Most other 28 day loan psychology books are located on the second floor of the Baillieu Library, spanning the Dewey range 150 – 158.
- Giblin Eunson Library has a large developmental psychology collection.
