Managing References

An introduction to reference management programs and software.

Mendeley

Mendeley is a free reference manager and academic social network that can help you organize your research, collaborate with others online, and discover the latest research.

It interfaces with Facebook and you can sync your Mendeley library to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.

Mendeley has plugins for Microsoft Word and Open Office, which allow you to insert citations and generate bibliographies.

You can add PDFs to Mendeley and Mendeley will then attempt to automatically extract document details (authors, title, journal etc.)

What is Mendeley?
