Example statements for Researchers, Groups and Institutions

For the years 2010 to 2017, my published outputs received 30% higher rate of citations compared to the world average for my field.

For the five years 2013 to 2018, the School of XXXXXX outputs received 131% higher rate of citations compared to the world average in the field of XXXXXXX.

2. Access the Benchmarking Module
3. Define a new researcher
4. Select the following
1. Y-axis = Scholarly Output
2. X-axis = Field Weighted Citation Impact
5. Select the Date range 2010 to 2017

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Go to Scival
  2. Access the Overview Module
  3. Define a new Research Group
  4. The default date range is the last 5 years (e.g.: 2013 > 2018)

Example Statement for a single paper

In 2018, the paper on the computational physiology and the physiome project received 102% higher rate of citations compared with the world average in its field.

FWCI for papers in Scopus

  1. Go to Scopus
  2. Search for the paper
  3. The Field-Weighted Citation Impact for that paper is listed with other metrics on the right of the page
