Finding all provincial and territory legislation in one database

The two databases below are very useful research tools, especially for noting up and, for example, to perform searches across all provincial legislation simultaneously. However, to ensure you use official versions of legislation, use the individual government legislation websites.

CanLII
CanLII includes consolidated Acts and Regulations for all 13 provinces and territories. From each individual piece of legislation, you can see its historical versions, amendments, Regulations (in the case of Acts), Enabling Act (in the case of Regulations) and cases on the legislation (using Noteup). From the Statutes and Regulations home page for each jurisdiction, you can also link directly to the official government legislation, Bills, Hansard and Gazette websites.
Westlaw Next Canada
WestlawNext Canada's Statutes and Regulations database includes consolidated Acts and Regulations for all 13 provinces and territories. From each individual piece of legislation, you can see its amendments and cases on the legislation (using Citing References).
