 Do I have to Link Readings Online to the LMS?


If this is the first time your subject has used Readings Online, you will need to link Readings Online to the LMS by completing the Linking Readings Online to the LMS for the first time listed below. Once you complete this, you can move to Step 2. Create or Roll Over a Reading List



If your subject has used Readings Online before, you can skip this step and move to Step 2. Create or Roll Over a Reading List to either roll over an existing list, or create your own new reading list.

1. Linking Readings Online to the LMS for the first time

1. Open the Readings Online link in your left hand Canvas subject navigation menu.

Readings Online uses the eReserve platform, first time users will need to enter some preliminary information.

2. Complete the Welcome to eReserve section.

  • Select your Faculty/School from the School drop down menu
  • select your citation style from the drop-down menu



3. Click on Update to save your selection and open your Readings Online library.


Readings Online (eReserve) is now linked to your LMS subject. 

  • Click on 'Reading lists' to add readings See the instructions for adding a list
  • Click on 'Unit Settings' to make changes to either faculty or citation style.
  • Click on 'Back to Course' to return to the LMS
