To find theses on a particular topic, select ‘Theses’ from the ‘Advanced searches’ list on the library catalogue and enter your keywords:

To modify your search, you need to click ‘Start Over’ and begin a new ‘Theses’ search; otherwise your results will include books and other materials, not just theses.

Many recent theses - as well as some older theses - are available online. To look only at these, use the University of Melbourne ePrints Repository.

Honours theses - if they are available at all - are generally held in departmental libraries.

Viewing print theses

University of Melbourne theses not available online are held in the Cultural Collections Reading Room on level 3 of the Baillieu Library. You cannot browse the thesis collection; you need to submit a request to view a thesis using the online form.
