Many states have their own official state reporters, which publish decisions from one or more of their state's courts. In addition, there are also seven Regional Reporters which cover several states each. Some smaller states have stopped publishing their own official reporters and have designated the Regional Reporters as their official reporter. Where a case appears in both reporters, either citation may be used.
