New Zealand Ministry of Justice Policy DevelopmentPolicy teams at the Ministry of Justice provide support and advice on new legislation and legislative reform. This advisory body creates, researches and evaluates policy relating to civil, commercial, criminal, and constitutional law, human rights, international justice, foreshore and seabed policy, and treaty negotiations, improvements to the justice system, and provides advice to the Minister of Justice, the Associate Minister of Justice, Minister for Courts, the Attorney General and the Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations.
