Health Informatics and Digital Health
- Digital health is the use of digital, mobile and wireless Internet connected technologies to work with health data (e.g. electronic patient records), health information (e.g. health online and social media sites) and health services (e.g. telehealth).
- Health informatics is the application of information science and information technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health systems, including all aspects of health self-management, clinical and community care, population health, and biomedical research and development.
