Intercultural understanding picture books and fiction (PETAA booklist)

  • The Intercultural understanding (PETAA list) has been developed to support class activities for the Master of Teaching Primary subject, Literacy Assessment and Learning (EDUC91087).
  • This list provides easy access for Teacher candidates to a list of titles explored in the Primary English Teaching Association Australia  (PETAA resource), Rich texts for supporting the Intercultural Understanding capability in the English and literacies classroom. The 11 texts described in the resource were selected from the 2022 CBCA list of Notable and Shortlisted lists and are suitable for early childhood through to secondary school.
