The search box on the library homepage connects to the University of Melbourne's main search tool, Discovery.
If you have the exact article title, putting it in double quotations in the search field will yield the most accurate results. Similarly, if you have the DOI, enter the number into the search field to link to the article.
The University of Melbourne uses Single Sign-On (SSO) to facilitate access to library resources. This system, OpenAthens, can be paired with our browser extensions, Lean Library and LibKey Nomad to automate access from both Google and library database searches.
Using Browzine and LibKey Nomad
LibKey Nomad works in conjunction with Browzine to connect to our resources from databases such as PubMed. Downloading the browser extension will add links to PDFs and direct to University of Melbourne holdings without having to look up the resource separately or authenticate mulitple times.
Browzine allows you to connect to journal subscriptions available at University of Melbourne and to receive notifications about new publications according to your preferences
