Environment Education Victoria (EEV) has a dedicated team of experienced people. Our team at Environment Education Victoria deliver a range of services for our members and the greater environment & sustainability education community across the state.

‘Primary Connections: Linking science with literacy’ is an innovative approach to teaching and learning which aims to enhance primary school teachers’ confidence and competence for teaching science. This link is to the Curriculum Resources page, which contains additional overviews of lesson/unit plans, and supplemental information about the 5Es learning/teaching model.

STAV provides leadership, support, services, programs and resources for all levels of science education. STAV represents the collective voice of all teachers of science in all matters relating to the teaching of science in Victoria, and through ASTA (the Australian Science Teachers Association) it represents these teachers at a national level.

Created by the University of California at Berkeley, Understanding Science offers a variety of resources to integrate the nature and process of science into teaching at all levels of education.

This document is Western Australia based (DET, WA), but it comprehensively describes the 5Es model of instruction and how it can be applied in science teaching and learning.

The Victorian Curriculum is managed by VCAA (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority). All Victorian government and Catholic schools are required to use the Victorian Curriculum F–10. Independent schools may use the Victorian Curriculum F–10 as a model and resource for the effective implementation of the Australian Curriculum.
