Using generative AI

The University has developed a range of resources to advise staff and students on the appropriate use of generative AI:

A growing number of journals and publishers are adopting generative AI policies. Check your journal or publisher's policies and author guidelines prior to submission.

Reporting in Retraction Watch reveals that a growing number of papers are being retracted for undeclared use of ChatGPT and for inappropriate use of AI-generated images. prior to submission.
