Government Gazettes

A Gazette is an official government publication which gives information about government matters and makes government announcements including proclamations.
The Gazette usually provides:

  • Assent and Commencement Information of Acts
  • Official notification of decisions or actions taken by, or information from:
    • Governor of Victoria
    • Government authorities
    • Government departments
    • Local councils
    • Companies
    • Individuals
  • Notices required under particular Acts
  • Information pertaining to the making of Statutory Rule
