  Referencing & Citing

Chicago Style

Chicago is a referencing style used by many schools across the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music.  Chicago uses two different methods for citing sources; Chicago A, which is a footnote style, and Chicago B which is an Author - Date style.   it is important for you to know which of these two styles you are required to use for your writing and research.

The Chicago Manual of Style This is the seventeenth edition of the style guide.  In addition to the Re:cite button above, use this guide for finding information on referencing in both Chicago A and Chicago B styles.
