Introduction
This is a guide to Victorian map resources that concentrates on the highly authoritative resources available from the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment, and the Victorian Department of Primary Industries.

Key repositories of Victorian maps
- Land ChannelVictorian Government land and property information and services about land and property anywhere in Victoria. Formerly Office of the Surveyor General (Victorian Government).
- State Library of VictoriaAustralian maps, especially those covering Victoria, are the main focus of this collection, though the Library also has many maps from overseas.
- Pubic Record Office VictoriaPublic Record Office Victoria is the archives of the State Government of Victoria. They hold records from the mid 1830s to today, and manage these records for use by the government and by the people of Victoria.
