Covidence Academy

The Covidence Academy includes:

Covidence is a web-based tool that can simplify the processes of systematic and scoping reviews. It is designed to easily import citations ready for screening by multiple reviewers. The tool provides keyword highlighting and records the voting of  screeners. Uploading PDFs is quick and easy and exclusion notes can be captured to resolve disagreements. Covidence includes customisable data extraction forms and automatically populates the Risk of Bias tables and Prisma Flow Chart.


Accessing Covidence
Use your University of Melbourne email address to request access to the University of Melbourne's account in Covidence.

1. Go to this registration page

2. Enter your information ( OR and click “Request Invitation”

3. Accept the invitation in your email 

4. Go to Covidence. Sign up for a new account or Sign in


Creating a review 
Click “Start a new review”.   Add a title and click "Create Review".  Other team members can then be invited to the review in the settings area.  You can also set up screening rules, exclusion reasons, study tags and inclusion/exclusion keywords.
