About Minitab

Minitab is a powerful statistical software package for analysing data and presenting results. It is command- and menu-driven, whereby analysis can be performed using drop-down menus or sytax. Minitab supports the design and analysis of experiments, including factorial, response surface, mixture and Taguchi designs. Please note that Minitab is only available for Windows computers.

Access

Access Minitab on Campus

Minitab is currently available on all Library and StudentIT lab computers. It may also be available in some Faculty and Graduate School Labs.
Research students can access Minitab in the Graduate Centre (1888 building)

  • PC Lab:  Room 154, first floor, east wing of the Graduate Centre.
  • Macintosh & PC Lab: Room 127, first floor, west wing of the Graduate Centre.

Minitab is available on myUniApps.

Obtain Minitab Software

Minitab is included in the University's site license program. Staff and students at the University of Melbourne are able to obtain a license and download Minitab via the Department of Mathematics and Statistics wiki.
