Historical statues and regulations

The Osgoode Digital Commons Library provides access to the:

  • Annual Statutes of Ontario, from colonial times to 1999 inclusive, as officially published in the annual or sessional statute volumes for the years when the legislation was passed.
  • Revised Statutes of Ontario (RSO), from 1914 to the last revision in 1990, as officially published by the Queen’s Printer.

The Law Society of Upper Canada's Great Library's Legislation Research Guide provides access to the:

  • Regulations of Ontario (1944-2008)
  • Revised Regulations of Ontario (1950-1990)  

The Ontario Gazette is available online on the official Gazette website - January 2000 to current. However, the print version of the Gazette remains the only official version.
