Best Fit Framework Synthesis

Framework synthesis is one systematic review method employed to address health care practice and policy. Adapted from framework analysis methods, it has been used increasingly, using both qualitative and mixed-method systematic review methods (Brunton et al, 2020)

Best fit framework synthesis is different from other approaches to qualitative evidence synthesis in part because it employs a systematic method for identifying published frameworks, models or theories in order to create the framework for the synthesis" (Carol et al, 2013)
