In the SciVal Topic 'animal health; Livestock; veterinary services' I am the leading author in Australia and in the top 10 worldwide for publications and citations.

1. Go to SciVal

2. Go to Explore

3. Click the Entity List Button

4. Select the Researchers and Groups option

5. Select your name from the list*

6. From the left panel select Topics to view the Topics and Topic Clusters of your publications.  You can view the publications that have been added to particular topics or topic clusters by clicking on the number of Scholarly Outputs.

7. Hover over a Topic name and click "Analyze activity of Researcher"

8. Scroll to the bottom and under Your Institution's activity click "Explore activity of your Institution within current Topic in detail". This will add this Topic or Topic Cluster to the Overview Panel for further analysis

9. From the left panel, select Authors

10. Select a location from Top 100 authors in - Options are University of Melbourne, Australia, Asia Pacific, World

11. Identify your position in the top listing.

 

*If you have yet to Define a new researcher follow these steps

1. Go to  Explore

2. Select the Entity List Button

3. Select the Researchers and Groups option

4. From the bottom of this panel select +Create/Import

5. Select Define a new Researcher

6. Enter Last Name / First Name and then Search

7. From the results, select the required Researcher and then click Directly go to Save Researcher
