1. Go to SciVal

2. Go to the Overview Module

Follow this step if you have not defined yourself as a researcher

     On the side panel, select Researchers and Groups
     Select Add Researchers and Groups
     Select Define a New Researcher.  Search for your name and Save and finish

3. On your Overview profile select the Topics & Topic Clusters tab.  View your Topics and Topic Clusters.  You can view the articles that have been added to particular topics or topic clusters by clicking on the number of Scholarly Outputs.

4. Hover over a Topic name and click "Analyze activity of Researcher"

5. Scroll to the bottom and under Your Institution's activity click "Explore activity of your Institution within current Topic in detail". This will add this Topic or Topic Cluster to the Overview Panel for further analysis

6. From the middle menu, select 'Authors'

7. Select a location from 'Top 100 authors in'. Options are University of Melbourne, Australia, Asia Pacific, World

8. Identify your position in the top listing.
